Forwards...

I get so many forwards! Mostly on my emails, but on facebook, I would get a lot on the superwall app, after awhile I got annoyed with it and got rid of it, (the app, not facebook...) Most forwards by email or by bulletin, aren't that annoying, like the surveys or the cute Christian ones. I don't like the ones that say stuff like "If you don't send this in 45 minutes you will have bad relationships for 5 years" or "If you don't send this you will die at 12:00 tonight". First of all, if you send one that says "you will die at midnight" to your best friend, thats like saying you want your best friend to die! Second, its not like sending a fwd or not is going to effect the plan God has for you!

Just something on my mind...

Myspace Vs. Facebook

Yes, I did it... I caved and got a myspace page. Im usually on facebook, but now I'm on both. Myspace and Facebook are both different, but yet have similarities. With myspace, I can decorate it with unique layouts and cute pictures and icons from photobucket, so I get to express my self! With Facebook, the colors are fairly bland but it has more apps and you don't have to mess with the annoying about me template. Myspace has more room comments, which can be a good or bad thing... Myspace also has where you can format letter, like this and make them bold, bigger, smaller,

and add block quotes
which Facebook does but only in the notes section. Facebook is safer than myspace, as long as you are careful who you add. But myspace can be a little bit safer if you set it to private...

Anywho, both Facebook and Myspace have their pros and cons, so I'll have to call this one a tie...

P.S.
facebook has pokes... I like pokes
And please comment!

Lately....

I've been on the Internet way to much. I seriously need to get a life! :P
Its actually pretty adictive! Especially Facebook and myspace! I heard awhile ago that if you spend over 40 hours a week on the net that your addicted! I'm not sure if that's totally true or not but I just remember reading it somewhere...

On yahoo I found these little downloadable apps called widgets. The are somewhere useful. Currently I have the weather widget, a Spell checker, a calender, a mail widget, and to my surprise, a Facebook widget!
I also figured out how to make the Yahoo! yodel when I get mail! How cool is that?

I also have picked a very bad habit, from a dear friend...
The random saying of "Your Mom"... I find it funny how I pick up that habit right after I made a group on facebook call "If Taryn say 'Your momma' one more time, I'm gonna scream!"...

Just boredom really...

The Unique Aspects of Me....

Lately, I've been realizing how unique God made me. As an really, who else do you know that's up at 3:00 AM, blogging and eating left-over egg drop soup! Or figured out how to rearrange the skins on yahoo messenger to be the way I wanted to be! Or spending forever trying to figure out how to get music videos on to my cell phone (it almost worked too!). As you see, I do weird stuff.
I also Homeschool, which isn't too rare, But a lot more people go to public school than homeschool (and yes homeschoolers have friends!). I also listen to different music than what most of my friends listen to, Christian rock, which also isn't to rare, but I'm more talking about new bands that my friends have probably never even heard of! (tvulive.com)...

Just something on my mind....

24

No... Not the T.V. show...
I mean I've been awake for almost 24 hours assuming I don't fall asleep later on today. How did I get to staying up almost 24 hours? The answer - Coffee. I love coffee! I was making a blend of coffee, ice, milk and mint-flavored hot coco. It was pretty good! But I made this around three or four o'clock, and drank a good bit of it (plus I'm really sensitive to caffeine when I've had over a cup), so here I am at 7:00 AM with no sleep since yesterday morning. On the bright side, I did get a little bit of work done and I figured out how to format notes on facebook!
As I'm writing this, I can feel my self getting tired. Another cause of this sudden (hopefully temporary) insomnia, is that now that Christmas break is over, I get to see my very missed friends from church and I'm really exited and I here there will be many changes to the student ministry. Oh well, I always wanted to see what it was like to stay up through the whole night.
The sun is about to come up and I'm getting kinda hungry, so I better get some breakfast.

Live for Him &
God bless

Making a Difference...

Lately, I've really been wanting to use my talents for the better, but I find myself asking, "What are my talents?", Well alot of people say I sing good, but how can I use that to make a difference? I also play guitar, but I wouldn't really consider a "talent" right around now...
I also like A/V and computers. But really that sounds more like a hobby.

So this would lead one to believe that I don't have really any useful talents. But I believe that God gave everyone a talent and a use for that talent, weather its being able to play guitar and sing to lead worship at church or even be a rock star and make a difference in a kids life, or if you are good with kids and helping a parent, or maybe, just maybe one could be slightly good at writing and likes to vent or express themselves could make a blog and someone could stumble upon that blog and see this post and realize that God put them here on purpose and has a reason for them to be right where they are, right now... God paid a high price for you for a reason....

Live for him, God bless,

Podcasts

Or as Falling Up and Hawk Nelson would say "Vodcasts". Video + Podcasts = "Vodcasts"... Hmm makse sense...

Anywho, I've been addicted to them lately! It upsets me though, originally podcasts are for iTunes, but iTunes is extremely slow on my computer so the vodcasts go slow too. But fortunetly they though up an odd website called "Youtube.com", so I just watch it on there when they come out. So what are podcasts good for anyway? Well the ones I watch are mostly from Christian rock bands like Falling Up and Hawk Nelson. They are pretty much just entertaining footage of the band edited for comedy. Also they have useful info on upcoming tours and CDs. My personal favorite is "Ode to Quizno's" by Hawk Nelson.

Moving on...

After watching many podcasts in my spare time, I thought it would be fun to start my own vodcasts series! I'm not sure if its gonna take off though, because I would need the help of some friends, and also its filmed on my camera phone so its really pixely and the sounds not great. I have already made a pilot by my self which pretty much stinks (lol). Its pretty much just me showing off my new earrings and guitar while instant messaging a friend (the power of multi-tasking)...

Hopefully I'll make more episodes.

Woodland Forest

Ok so, I was browsing the Relient K website and found "Woodland Forest". Its a mini cartoon that was made by Relient K's bassist John warne. It actually features the band members voicing for their own character, and Matt Thiessen as Mearl the squirel. Its pretty funny especially if your a fan of Relient K.

The Revolve Tour

Recently I went to The Revolve Tour with some friends. Because it was two days we all stayed at one house. On day one, I went to Taryn's house and than we went and picked Alli and Olivia up. Than on the way we went to Wendy's. The line there was amazingly long and there were like a million other people going to Revolve in that one Wendy's!

Than we went to the arena. Then we went to our seats which were like on one of the top balconies! It was really high up and the wall to keep us safe was barley three feet tall! It was really fun and all the speakers and artist were really good. One of my favorites was Hawk Nelson! I was already a big fan of them even before that so it was awesome to get to see them in concert!

Mostly where the speakers were trying to get to us girls is that, we really shouldn't obsess about your looks, to wait for love, and that God is father and He sees us as beautiful no matter what!

At the end where the gathered all the performers on stage and asked questions that the audience sent in. After Natalie Grant answered a question we all yelled "WE LOVE YOU NATALIE!!!" and than she said "Aw love you too." It was really cool.

It was kinda sad when we had to leave. I'm really hoping to get to see more bands like Hawk Nelson in concert.

Falling Up

Falling Up is amazing... The band not actually "falling up". Their new CD "Captiva" is the best I've heard from them! My favorite song so far is "Good Morning Planetarium", it really is a wonderful song. More of my favorites are "Hotel Aquarium", "Maps", and "A Guide to Marine Life".

Here Is some of Their music:

"Hotel Aquarium".

Anywho, Falling Up is a great band, out there for a great reason.

Clostriphobia...

I'm not really claustrophobic, but I do get rather frustrated with everything when my space is very limited. Like now, I have very little space by my computer. First of all my room is tiny! Second, its not even on a real desk. Its on an elementary school desk. My screen is huge, and there isn't any room on my "desk" for my mouse and mouse pad! so when I'm typing, like now, I have my mouse pad on the floor, but when I'm actually using it I somehow balance it on my arm rest. And I keep my keyboard in the little space in the desk that is normally used for books and other school junk... NOTE: Multi-tasking... not pretty...

Tiredness...

Ok so, I've been really tired lately. And moving on to more interesting things... Last night I went to this one website to look for pictures from the "For young women only..." Bible study video shoot (where my friends and I were part of the small audience) Thinking there would be tons of pictures... ya i was wrong... There were only about ten pictures and only one really bad picture of the audience! And since it was a picture video I couldn't even get a good look at it.
Also latley I've been going to a homeschool teen night, which is really fun! and all the people are really nice! While there me and some friends went and got Italian ice in about forty degree weather... And as a result, being numb pretty much throughout my whole body, but it was still awesome!

I'm extremely excited about going to The Revolve tour! Its going to be amazing! I went last year with my church youth group and it was awesome, but this year will be different... This year will have.... HAWK NELSON!! Yep Hawk nelson! pretty much the most awesome band... EVER! I will probably take pictures and videos and post them on here and Facebook....

♥Christmas♥

Hey!
Wow I totally L-O-V-E Christmas time! Now that Thanksgiving is over it really feels more like Christmas. First of all, It's been fairly cold lately so I've been wearing long sleeves and sweaters which, especially sweaters, make it feel Christmasy! It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in side. And just thinking of hot chocolate and warm fire places feels good.

Also it makes me think about Jesus and where what my priorities are..
And I can't forget gifts! I'm hoping for either a new iPod or guitar lessons, because I really want to get good at it. I am also looking forward to Christmas parties in December, and wearing my Santa Claus hat just for the fun of it... *sigh* There are just some things you can't do in the middle of summer....

...

Wow have you noticed my extensive use of "..."? I guess its just my was of saying what I have to say without saying it. Or its just a fun way to end my sentence, and leading poor unfortunate people who don't know me well or haven't read my writing, to thinking that there is more to what I was saying...

I still hold onto summer sleeping habits as you see by the fact that I'm up at 12:46, but hopefully this bad habit will end soon....

Wow... "habits" sounds like "Hobbits". That was random in so many ways, and had pretty much nothing to do with what I was talking about...

Facebook...

So... Ya I haven't written in awhile, but no worries, I'm writing now.

Sadly I have been spending alot of time on facebook, but what else am I suppose to do?
Life for me these days are somewhat boring, or at least this week has, for I lack friends this week who are on break and spend their precious break time vacationing elsewhere, which brings me back to facebook. During my boredom, I got alot of school work done, and now myself is on break.
I find it very funny that, while doing work, one thing, everybody wants is to take a break. Break to do what? To do nothing! And in that nothing, we find ourselves doing pretty much useless but entertaining stuff like facebook. But I think I've been doing to much nothing lately, but what do I do about this?

Anywho... getting on to other aspects of life...
A few weeks ago my friends from church and I were selected to be the small audience for a curriculum, for a book called "For young women only". It was really fun, although we were only there for the first two chapters. There were alot of other people there to be in it too.
They gave all of us a autographed copy of the book. Its a really good book, I totally recommend it!
Its about guys and their way of thinking...

Pierceing

This weekend I finally got my ears pierced. I actually have been waiting awhile to get it. Unfortunately I have to wait six weeks to get new earrings.
I have found out with alot of things, if someone tells you its going to hurt and and you have in your mine that you are going to experience extreme pain and to only find out that its just having a small sharp object going through your ear. Sadly it was not that way. Everybody told me that "it doesn't hurt!" and "you won't feel a thing!" so I had in my mind "OK it doesn't hurt its just gonna be this little pointy thing touching my ear", but it did hurt alot but its worth it because this is a one time pain unlike clip on's which hurt like crazy when you take them off!

It was so funny! Before the pierce it, they put a little dot with marker on your ear so you know where its gonna be but on one ear it smeared and when I got home I was like "MY EAR IS PURPLE!!!!!!" then Blair pointed out to me (while laughing her head off) that it was not anything wrong but only a dot of ink. (Thanks Blair!)

Youth group. School. Life.

Yesterday I went to youth group after I came back from tutoring. I ended up being somewhat later than I usually are, but I didn't miss anything.
The service was shorter than usually so we all just hung out.

*Sigh* school. I've been doing alot of lately and be the procrastinator I am I can pile up sometimes. Its funny how by just sleeping in a little bit on a school day can get me behind so much, for example, I woke up late Monday, I miss a little school, than try to make up for what I missed at night so I end up going to bed late, so than I sleep in even later the next day, and so on. There's no life like school life! lol

Clouds

Have you ever noticed how beutiful the sky is with clouds? Or even without clouds.
God has blessed the earth with such a beutiful back ground.

Its so perfect, even when its over cast and stormy because you always know that thats just here and somewhere else in the world its blue skys everywhere.

And night fall is so lovely, when you look up in the sky and see the moon and the stars.

Wow!

Wow its been forever since i last updated!
Anywho, lately I've been spending alot of time on facebook (which probably isn't the most healthy thing in the world lol) and doing a whole bunch of boring summer junk. But now its fall (but yet, its still 80* out side during the day, but nights and morning are nice), I'm doing tennis lessons with the homeschool group which is cool! My church move to a new building and they changed a whole bunch of stuff like now the youth room gets a loft which is really cool, and we have a new youth paster who rocks! Youth is so cool! Its really intense! Bowling started back up. I have a new bowling partner who is really cool, and i beat my high score of 155 with 161! Currently our team is in 3rd place!
Lately I've been going to teen night and park day at the park which is really cool!
